Update Friday, May 4. The Manetti Shrem Museum is closed today through the weekend, so exhibitions and presentations are canceled.

Storm Large performs at Mondavi

As her name portends, Storm Large is every bit the natural phenomenon. After shooting to prominence on Rock Star: Supernova, Large has built a career that includes regular gigs with Pink Martini and the Oregon Symphony as well as her own one-woman shows Crazy Enough and Cabaret. With her longtime band, Le Bonheur, Large leads a bold show that includes the Great American Songbook, Broadway standards, rock anthems and some of her own original songs鈥攁longside some unfiltered stage banter that will entertain (and perhaps elicit) a few blushes along the way.

Parental Advisory: Storm鈥檚 show includes mature subject matter and profanity.

Coming up: 'Two Pints'

Wednesday through Sunday next week will feature Abbey Theatre鈥檚 鈥淭wo Pints鈥 by Roddy Doyle.

Two men meet for a pint. They talk about their Da鈥檚, death, Nigella, North Korea, the afterlife. This is the making of Roddy Doyle鈥檚 hilarious and provocative Two Pints, which started as a series of conversations on Facebook and has since evolved into an immersive play from Abbey Theatre of Dublin and coming to Vanderhoef Studio Theatre PubTwo Pints exemplifies the company鈥檚 vision to imaginatively engage its audiences to become part of the conversation, experienced here through interactions with these fascinating Dubliners. Pull up a stool and listen in as two men, over a couple of pints, chew the fat and set the world to rights.

This event includes language that some patrons may find offensive. Ticket information
