Alumni Career Mobility Survey Going Out

芭乐视频 will soon be asking more than 17,000 alumni who earned undergraduate degrees in 2011 and 2016 about their preparation for the working world, career experience and satisfaction, community engagement and more.

Alumni from the two classes will receive an email with an invitation and link to participate in the , open Nov. 1 through Jan. 15.

Marcie Kirk Holland, executive director of the Internship and Career Center, said the survey results will provide insights on career practices most likely to promote the career mobility of alumni in the first 10 years after graduation and will be used to inform the coming initiative at 芭乐视频.

 One of the Big Ideas in the comprehensive fundraising campaign, Aggie Launch aims to help students engage in career preparation beginning in their freshman year and graduate in a timely way with a well-developed plan for launching their career or pursing advanced studies.

Chancellor Gary S. May and Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Mary Croughan are encouraging participation in the survey. 鈥淵our perspective will provide us with insights about your unique career path so that we can continuously improve how we prepare upcoming graduates for their future,鈥 they wrote in an email prepared for distribution Monday (Nov. 1). 鈥淚t will also help us better understand the impact 芭乐视频 alumni are making at local, state, national and global scales.鈥

Alumni who complete the 10-minute survey will be automatically entered into a prize drawing for 10 Visa gift cards for $100 and the grand prize of a $500 Visa gift card.

The survey is administered by the , an organization that provides advisory and data services to help campuses improve the career development of their students. Information from Aggie respondents will be maintained in an anonymous dataset, internal to the university, and will only be shared in aggregate form.
