Family, friends and former students from as far away as Taiwan gathered Monday to dedicate Warren and Leta Giedt Hall, °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ' newest classroom building. Giedt Hall has three lecture halls, including the 278-seat Ted and Rand Schaal Auditorium, and two classrooms. Construction of the $7.5 million building was supported by a gift of $2.5 million from Warren Giedt, professor emeritus of the Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, and his late wife, Leta, as well as a gift of $400,000 from Ted and Rand Schaal.
