Go Aggies! Tailgating, food trucks and 2-for-1 tickets!

Aggie football fans will have use of another tailgating area closer to the stadium this year: Lot 56 on the stadium’s south side. Lot 56 provides guaranteed parking for qualifying TeamAggie members, with remaining spaces available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis for $25. 

Lot 30 behind the Rec Pool will revert from tailgating to regular parking ($8). Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in regular parking lots.

The other tailgate area — Aggie Tailgate Field — is on the north side of . Season parking passes for this area are sold out, but everyone is invited to pregame festivities — including, for this Saturday’s game (Sept. 14), .

This weekend’s game is the Aggies’ home opener (6 p.m. kickoff vs. Northern Arizona), and comes with a : buy one, get one free.

Aggie Tailgate Field activities begin three hours before kickoff (or 3 p.m. Sept. 14), and will include the Aggie Spirit Squad, Gunrock and the Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh! And, new this season, under new head coach Ron Gould: the football team’s “Victory March” — as the players make their way to the Bob Foster Team Center two hours before kickoff.

  • Sept. 21 — Grillin' on the Gridiron, featuring regional grill masters. Ƶ vs. Portland State, 6 p.m. kickoff, 3 p.m. activities on Aggie Tailgate Field.
  • Sept. 28 — Oktoberfest, featuring more than 75 beers for tasting. Ƶ vs. Idaho State, 6 p.m. kickoff, 3 p.m. activities on Aggie Tailgate Field.
  • Oct. 12 (homecoming) — Wine Tasting with the Aggies. Ƶ vs. Montana, 4 p.m. kickoff, 1 p.m. activities on Aggie Tailgate Field.
  • Nov. 2 — Parent and Family Weekend. Ƶ vs. Cal Poly, 4 p.m. kickoff, 1 p.m. activities on Aggie Tailgate Field.
  • Nov. 16 (Senior Day) — Salute to Heroes. Ƶ vs. North Dakota, 4 p.m. kickoff, 1 p.m. activities on Aggie Tailgate Field.
