The °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ, Davis, Police Department reports that the missing person they were seeking Wednesday night has been found alive and safe.
Police say Victor Jin of Sacramento, a 41-year-old post-doctoral researcher at the Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility, was found about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Sacramento area and has been admitted to a local hospital.
Jin had been last seen at 2 p.m., July 19, at the genome facility. According to police, co-workers said Jin was "exhibiting erratic behavior and acting strange." He was reported missing on Monday by a campus professor after he failed to show up for work.
