Oct. 11, Sunday -- Block parties will be held all over Davis from noon to 9 p.m. during the annual Davis Neighbors' Night Out. This informal event, organized by the City of Davis, °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ and the Associated Students of °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ, encourages neighbors to gather and get to know each other through activities like potluck dinners, barbecues, cookie exchanges and ice cream socials. The event began in 2005 as a pilot project to help students and neighbors develop positive relationships. More than 130 activities have been registered this year. For more information, visit .
