UPDATED: New Honor in CASE Contest

Updated March 9 to add a surprise honor from the CASE District VII conference held March 4-7 in San Francisco: the selection of “Small Towns, Big Flood Waters,” a multimedia story from the Office of Strategic Communications, as a district finalist for the CASE global platinum award for Best Article of the Year. “Small Towns, Big Flood Waters,” by Kat Kerlin and Joe Proudman, will now vie for the platinum with other finalists from around the world.

��Ƶ Has Rising Star, Top Projects

Meg Padovani, a lead applications developer in Development and Alumni Relations, contributed to 11 projects honored recently by District VII of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, and, not surprisingly, she also earned the district’s Rising Star Award.

Development, Communication Efforts Win 16 Golds

After earning six golds a year ago, ��Ƶ came away with nearly three times as many in the 2018 CASE regional competition for development, marketing and communication projects.

7 Projects Are In CASE Circle of Excellence

��Ƶ has added seven national awards to the 29 regional honors it received earlier this year from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, for development, marketing and communications projects.

The campus submitted 28 projects to the CASE national Circle of Excellence competition and came away with a platinum, two golds, three silvers and a bronze. ��Ƶ was one of only six universities to earn a platinum award, for Best Practices in Advancement Services.

Staff from ��Ƶ traveled to San Diego last week to pick up their awards from the District VII Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, and came home with two more than expected.

Also, District VII recognized Pam Pacelli, senior director of development in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, as the district’s Rising Star for 2017.
